In-person Classes in Bangalore & Mumbai

With over 4000+ plus students across 50 countries, Shankar Mahadevan Academy has proved that online music education is a viable and effective option to learn music. From 2 year olds who are just taking their first steps into the fascinating world of music to busy professionals learning on their way to work and enthusiastic senior citizens rediscovering their passion for music - our online courses have brought the Joy of Music into many lives. While there is no denying the convenience and effectiveness of the online medium, we discovered a different energy during our get-togethers, group classes in companies and annual meetup Sangam from in-person interactions. Our in-person programs at NCPA Mumbai were a major success and became a catalyst for launching this model of instruction in other cities as well.

In Summer, we launched many workshops and summer camps for children in Mumbai as well as in Bangalore in association with some of our partners. The courses took children on a journey of understanding diverse styles and genres of Music and creating their own song - Right from creating their own lyrics to composing a tune. Encouraged by the immense response to the children's programs. we will be offering Classical Music Courses (Hindustani and Carnatic Vocal Courses) at our campus in Bangalore. These programs are open to both children and adults looking to take their first steps into the world of Indian Classical Music. We'll also be launching Instrumental Music Courses in early July starting with Western Guitar. All our courses have a structured curriculum with measurable outcomes and are augmented by online learning materials.
